Well i collected the beast yesterday morning,the sun was shining,perfect! i really did'nt want to baptise a new bike with a wet ride home.first impressions are very good,just like my FZS600,only more roomy and a lot more punch,the dealer said not to go above half max revs,that is 4500 rpm,that equates to 85mph,unlike the FZS the power is straight there,no having to wait till 9000+ for the arm wrenching spine tingling rush,I love it!

Went to remembrance day event in the village today wearing my poppy and glad to offer support but ..................

Was I the only one who thought it was ironic that when hundreds of our young soldiers are dying because of a war based around religion we stand around and are expected to pray on remembrance Sundays? And as for 'Let us remember today all the suffering and remember that Jesus suffered for us....'

Thinking of changing my 99mk1 600 to later 06 /600. Been offered good px in local dealers . looking at spec sheet on the 2 shows less torque from the mk2 and higher seat

I'd appreciate any feedback if you've got this helmet - thanks in advance.

I used to have a Shoei Raid, then replaced it after a spill. I've a fog city light reacting, anti steaming insert thing which works a treat in summer (goes blue tint) but in the wet the visor doesn't half steam up and is terrible to clear. In my opinion the Raid was better than the XR for wet riding (i had the same visor on the Raid).

I like the new fully faired Diversion 600 can you please do something with the silly filler panels under the tank and give the bike another 20bhp, adjustable suspension, some blue spot calipers and put Fazer on the side of it?
Also if you were able to shoe-horn the FZ8 engine into it to create the FZ8 Fazer....my cheque book would be getting decidedly twitchy.
