			<description><![CDATA[ Just discovered my battery is stuffed on my FZ1S.....not amused. Was fine until I fitted heated grips then nothing.

Standard battery is the Yusua YTZ14S which my Yam dealer wants £120 <img src="http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/eek.gif" alt="image">
for.........its a bloody battery. I was offered a &quot;budget&quot; battery for £35.

So whats the difference then. Same part code just different manufactorers.

This may be a case of &quot;they all do that sir&quot; but I have always had a mild issue with the way the front end deals with less than flat surfaces. For
example when commuting down the M1 in the evenings on what isn&#39;t the best of surfaces, the front is appears bouncy as emphasized by the H.I.D kit I have on
the bike. Using the 2 second gap as a ref, the beam seem to move 3-4&quot; on the rear of vehicles ahead of me.

The current contract has me doing 80 miles round trip and today I got the first tank range figure and I have to say I&#39;m pleasantly impressed.
<br>

Stock bike, 195miles, 17.52ltrs, £18.20, 70-90, relaxed riding, before hitting the reserve light. Gonna seen if I can replicate it to confirm the figures..

			<title><![CDATA[ Coolant leak??? ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ Bike suddenly started embarrassing me on cool mornings by surrounding me with a cloud of steam when I stop.

Crawled around it while idling on the drive and coolant is dripping down from the engine and landing between no. 1 and 2 exhaust pipes more or less in line
with the side stand. It&#39;s not the drain plug leaking (its dropping from higher than that) and is definitely coolant. No heating problems fan working etc
etc.

<p style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" class="MsoNormal">I&#39;ve just checked my valve clearances at 42,000 kms and most were well within tolerance. Only one exhaust
clearance was out but only up by.01mm so I left it.</p>

<p style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt" class="MsoNormal">3 inlets were out of tolerance although one was way out at .26 over the other two at .07 and .10. I&#39;m
thinking they probably left the factory out of spec.</p>

Mine hadn&#39;t worked for 2 years but I left it alone until the bike wouldn&#39;t start one Saturday morning. Thought it was a battery problem so gave it a
quick charge and the bike actually started and I went out for the afternoon. Stopped and started several times no problem. Two nights later again the bike

			<description><![CDATA[ After fitting an end can and power commander to my bike i wasn&#39;t sure how it affected the fuel consumption..Yesterday i thought i&#39;d find out what i
could get. When the bike was std the best i got was 160miles to a tank, this included 25 miles with the last pip flashing on the gauge, that ride was 70%
straight roads and motorways and 30% fast flowing twisty roads...For yesterday&#39;s ride i couldn&#39;t quite replicate that, i&#39;d say it was closer to 45%
