It's nearly time for the next B and M Honda bike quiz.
Big news is that Ride magazine are bringing a team of their journalists to challenge the local experts. Needless to say we would like as big a turn out as possible so please make the effort if you can. They will be stopping behind afterwards for a chat and answering questions if anyone wants to talk to them.

Nottingham Triumph Owners Club Annual Christmas Toy Run - all bikes welcome, the more the merrier.

Meet at the Red Lion, Bottesford (just off A52 between Nottm and Grantham) in time to leave at 11.00am on Sunday 6th December.

Ride with escort (including Lincolnshire's finest, red lights no issue) to Grantham town centre and then on to Meres Leisure Centre for coffee/tea, mince pies and meet the Mayor.

Bring a new/nearly new toy/gift to drop off at the Leisure...

As everything SEEMS to be going according to plan, I'll be picking the bike up on Saturday.
I'm gonna phone them tomorrow and double check, but I'd like the first service done next Saturday.

So, I know I'll be doing around half the distance needed just getting home and commuting, but could do with a nice wee run to blow off the cobwebs, scrub in the tyres and bed in the engine.

I'm thinking of going for bimble (note, that's *not* a blast or a thrash!) on Sunday afternoon and wondered if anyone else was interested?

The idea was to start about 2pm from the carpark with the burger van at the top of Portsdown Hill then take the A32 up to Loomies, the A272 along to Midhurst and then the A286 down towards Chichester and finish up somewhere on the seafront around the Selsey/ Wittering area (suggestions for stopping places welcomed).

It's that time of year again, B and M Honda's bike quizzes are starting again on Wed 7th October.
If you haven't been before here's how it goes.
Questions start at 8pm at B and M's shop (just off M1 j30), mix of bike questions and general knowledge so non bikers are a useful addition to any team. B and M put on free sarnies/tea/coffee, if you want a drink bring your own beer/wine (makes a cheap night out).
Entry is free, prizes for the top 3 teams each...
