I was going to pop into my local Halfords on the way home for a replacement. Hopefully Halfords will have one of those booklets which tells you what you need to buy, but just incase they don't I was wondering if anyone could advise me on what I need to look for? Cheers Scott

Years below 2002 (square headlight) Fazers I believe are H1 and H7 bulbs (perhaps someone can advise which ones are dipped and main). Foxeye headlights (2002-2003) are both H4 bulbs. I personally use Philips X-treme bulbs which are excellent. I think I paid £24 for two.

So you would need a H1 bulp - recommend Phillips HIgh Vision also - above is for a FZS 600 Square headlights

He's right ... the original dip bulb in the left hand lamp is an H1. Ignore what I said earlier (which you were probably ignoring anyway ) My dip beam IS an H4 ... but that's a different story.

I think fiasco is a bit ott. Luckily I remembered what had previously happened with HID kits and therefore realised it was H1 instead of H7. I did do a bit of research into the FZ6 bulbs and fleabay was saying H4. However that seems to be < 06 FZ6 bikes and the 07 bulbs are 12v 55w (H7) & 12v 60/55w (H4). Double check I'm right thought by checking the bulbs in your bike. I'd recommend the Philips X-treme (80% more light) bulbs, but they are generally sold in twin packs. You might need to do a bit of poking about to find the single H4 and H7 bulbs. There - problem solved. Last Edited By: NeoPanther 02/07/2008 14:48:00. Edited 1 times.
