They'll accept a bike safe as a garage - they quoted me £168 with protected no claims fully comp (Man I must be getting old or sommet!)

Q. How many toads does it take
to change a lightbulb?
A. One, if you can remember which one used to be the electrician. |

I'm with Carole Nash because they were the cheapest for me. But the other thing that swayed me was a friend who got really well looked after by them when
he had all sorts of trouble riding in Germany.
The inclusive breakdown cover isn't to be sniffed at either. And they seem less sniffy about little mods than most brokers (Direct Choice doubled their quote when I said the brakelines and rear shock had been changed; CN said it didn't matter). |

I've been with them since 97, and wouldn't go anywhere else unless there's some drastic changes.
I have a multi-bike policy with them, usually have 3/4/5 road bikes on the go, some of which get changed regulary. When I change a bike, ring them up, it's usually free to swap it over, sometimes get a £17 admin fee, but that's it. I've had a claim with them, about 6/7 years ago. My first Fazer 1000 (about two months old), was in a line of bikes that got knocked over at Hunstanton. The way that they dealt with the claim means I'll fully recommend them to anyone. And lastly the price, not always the most important thing, but here goes. I'm 36 & it's less than £250 fully comp, with all the extras, for an (up to) five bike policy, (currently Fzs1000, Fz6n, Dr800, Zx7r). Not worth me ringing anywhere else. |

Carol Nash since 2001, legal cover, business use, breakdown, blah, blah, blah.
Never had a problem/hassle when claiming, which is good. Coz things are bad enough when things go tits up. They sent me my renewal quote - when I phoned it in to accept they asked me to hold for one or two mins and came back with £40 less. Pretty much with Dave G, but I couldn't put the mate on their multibike policy:( |

Only concern I have with CN is that neither of my policies appear on the database and that means I can't get tax online and I keep pulled by the filth. I
have complained to CN several times but nothing changes. Makes me wonder if cover really exists or not?

Just got screwed on midpolicy bike change with CN. Traded in my two year old FZ-6S for an XJR1300 and got charged £94 to change on a £210 policy with 0 years
ncb due to break from biking.

I got my renewal in from CN. £203 covering one Fazer fully comp and another Fazer TPO. I thought this was a bit expensive (ie £40 more than last year, no
changes to bike, license or any claims) so I went on-line and could get fully comp for £ 86 each bike. But the cover wasn't the same, no European cover and
no bike recovery.
CN quoted on-line at a combined £210 for two separate policies (both fully comp) and I thought that was strange. They called to see if I was interested in my quotes and I explained I wasn't happy that I could get better cover for seven quid more than they wanted for a combined policy with less cover and stated that I thought they were robbing barstewards. End result ... Still with Carole Nash, £153 for both bikes fully comp, all usual benefits and with key guard thrown in (pays up to £1500 to replace any keys, locks, immobilisers, ECUs if you loose you keys. I've put it on the wife's car key/ house keys etc). £350 for a Honda Civic key. £8 for a Fazer key ??? So, in the end I'm happy with their service and don't have any hassle changing brokers Baz |
