Hi all
First post here so hope someone can help! My downpipes are shot and I"m looking at some used ones from a '99 model - will they fit or do I specifically need ones for a 2001 - 03 model? Many thanks |

Hi and welcome to the club, yes you can use the earlier ones but don't expect them to last long, they're all steel and rot even quicker than the later
ones! which use low grade stainless on the downpipes, these came in at the same time as the later foxeye model, or better still if your planning on keeping the
bike for a while, get some decent aftermarket stainless ones.

Not the best out there, some people have had fitting problems with them, but they're a cheap option.

I fitted these yesterday. One of the four pipes didn't fit brilliantly but all seems OK - no exhaust gases escaping so on the whole I'm pleased...
